Heck Yeah or No!

Steve Jobs is famous for his accomplishments, but ironically he stated many times how proud he was of what he and his team did NOT do.

“People think focus means saying yes to the thing you’ve got to focus on. But that’s not what it means at all. It means saying no to the hundred other good ideas that there are. You have to pick carefully. I’m actually as proud of the things we haven’t done as the things I have done. Innovation is saying no to 1,000 things.”
— Steve Jobs

But it’s difficult to know what to say no to until you choose that ONE thing.  That ONE thing that you are going to commit yourself to.  That ONE thing that will set you apart from the crowd, fill you with pride, and fully engage you.

Once you choose that ONE thing, here’s what you do.

When something comes along…if your answer isn’t “Heck Yeah!” that will move my ONE thing forward, then your answer should be no.

Heck Yeah or no.

There should be no in-between.

This is the key our children need to learn.  They need to find their unique value, dedicate themselves to it, and build their life around it.

The Heroic Family Unschooling Experience is designed to show your children how to build a life of "Heck yeah or No!".
